Spire Hospital in Cardiff are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join their busy team.
You will provide an exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation, accepted professional and ethical standards and clinical requirements.
This role is on a permanent part-time basis, working 16 hours per week.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To provide an exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation, accepted professional and ethical standards and clinical requirements.
- To provide advice and support to consultants, other clinicians and patients ensuring the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
- To advise on the safe management of medicines, ensuring compliance with current legislation and professional standards.
- To promote a multidisciplinary, patient focused approach to the delivery of an efficient, high quality healthcare service.
Who we're looking for:
- Master's degree in pharmacy, or equivalent at time of qualification.
- You must be a GPHC registered Pharmacist with no restrictions or conditions.
- Previous Hospital experience, minimum of 2 years.
- Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient requirements.
- SAP system experience is desirable but not essential.
- You will be a team player with a friendly, personable, sensitive, and empathetic approach.
- You will be UK based with UK experience.
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: 16 hours per week - Days - with 1 in 3 Saturdays
