Spire Norwich Hospital have an exciting opportunity to join our bank as a Radiology Assistant in the imaging department.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Support patients undergoing investigations working alongside our radiographers and specialist radiographers.
  • Contribute to the support and monitoring of patients.
  • Identify and report any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person.
  • Assist with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies.

Who we're looking for:

  • Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical/acute environment.
  • Current experience assisting for ultrasound examinations including interventional studies and MRI (Desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • NVQ Level 2 in a Health related subject is desirable (but not essential).

Working Hours: Zero-hour contract, Adhoc shifts to suit - Monday to Friday shifts as required between 8am and 8pm, hours of work from 5 hour shift to 9 hours.
