Spire Manchester is now recruiting a Cath Lab Nurse to join their warm and friendly team. Spire Manchester Hospital is a £65m state-of-the-art healthcare facility offering you the opportunity to work across a wide variety of specialisms. The Manchester team currently consists of over 800 colleagues and we are rapidly expanding as we increase the scope of services we provide across our experienced and dynamic teams.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To assist the Cardiology Services Manager in the running of the Cath Lab on a day-to-day basis
  • Scrub for PCI, devices and EP cases
  • To undertake clinical Cath Lab duties
  • To act as a Specialist Cardiology resource for the multi-disciplinary team within Spire Healthcare

Who we're looking for:

  • Degree (BSc Hons) or equivalent (minimum qualification)
  • Post-Graduate Diploma in specialist Cardiology providing specialist skill and knowledge and expertise.
  • Post graduate experience in relevant specialism
  • Experience in scrubbing for PCI, Devices and EP
  • Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied cases
  • Competence across a range of Cardiology/ Cath Lab skills supported by highly skilled professional and specialist knowledge.
