Spire Leicester Hospital is looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our busy Outpatients team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HCA with clinical experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering outstanding patient care.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the nursing team within the Outpatient Department
  • Undertake clinical observations including blood pressure, pulse and ECGs
  • Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection
  • Prepare patients for consultations and treatments
  • Ensure clinics run efficiently and provide excellent patient care throughout the patient journey
  • Maintain accurate patient records and support day-to-day department administration

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant within a clinical setting
  • Experience within Outpatients, Pre-Assessment or a surgical environment is desirable
  • Competent in clinical observations and ECGs
  • Good IT skills
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including occasional Saturdays

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate
  • Phlebotomy trained, including experience with both adult and paediatric patients
