Spire Leicester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialist Radiographer with MRI and/or CT experience to join our Imaging team on a bank basis.

The Role

You will provide a high standard of diagnostic imaging and patient care, working as part of our busy Imaging department. This role involves undertaking MRI and CT examinations, assessing patient needs and ensuring a safe, positive patient experience throughout their journey.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI and CT examinations in line with departmental protocols
  • Deliver safe, effective patient care throughout the imaging process
  • Assess patient needs and exercise sound clinical judgement
  • Explain procedures clearly and address any patient concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to departmental policies
  • Support the ongoing development of the Imaging service
  • Work effectively as part of the wider multidisciplinary team

Who we're looking for:

  • HCPC registered Radiographer
  • Recent/current experience in MRI and/or CT
  • Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Experience within the independent healthcare sector is desirable
