Spire Leicester Hospital is looking for a passionate and experienced Cancer Nurse Specialist to join our growing Cancer Services team on a Bank basis. Your Role:
- Act as a key worker, supporting patients through complex cancer pathways
- Deliver safe, high-quality chemotherapy (SACT) and holistic patient care
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery
- Assess, plan, and evaluate care across a dynamic and varied caseload
- Communicate sensitive information with professionalism and empathy
- Support and drive service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Promote best practice in infection control, safety, and patient wellbeing

- You’ll be a confident and compassionate nurse who thrives in a specialist setting:
- Registered Nurse with relevant oncology experience
- Qualified in SACT administration (accredited)
- Competent in venepuncture, cannulation, and CVAD management
- Experience managing complex cancer patient caseloads
- Comfortable working independently within a nurse-led environment
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
