Spire Leeds Hospital are seeking an experienced administrator to join the team on the staffing bank, 0 hours contract working ad-hoc shifts. As Ward Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the ward for patients, visitors and staff.
Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the ward for patients, visitors and staff.
- To greet and provide a customer focused, professional and effective service that exceeds expectations to all Patients, Consultants, and Visitors to the hospital.
- To deal with all telephone enquiries in an efficient and courteous manner.
- To give clear, concise information to all enquiries.
- To liaise with Catering Department regarding orders for refreshments by patients and visitors.
- To inform insurance companies if extended length of stay is required to keep insurance companies informed of emergency admissions.
- Ensure that patient notes are up to date and in correct order and are taken to the appropriate place when a patient episode is complete.
- Ensure that all filing of results and other information is accurately filed in the patient's notes.

- Previous relevant experience in an administrative support role, within a similar industry would be ideal but not essential.
