Spire Clare Park Hospital is looking for an experienced Engineering Assistant / Handyperson to join our Engineering team on a bank basis, supporting cover for annual leave and sickness. This is a great opportunity to use your maintenance and decorating skills while working for one of the UK’s leading private healthcare providers. Spire Clare Park Hospital is a modern elective hospital located in Farnham and is rated “Good” by the CQC. The hospital provides a broad range of surgical and diagnostic services, including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Urology, Dermatology and ENT, supported by state‑of‑the‑art imaging facilities.
Role Overview: As a Bank Engineering Assistant / Handyperson, you’ll play a key part in helping us maintain a safe, welcoming and well‑maintained hospital environment for patients, visitors and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general building maintenance and repairs
- Completing painting, decorating and minor refurbishment works
- Supporting the engineering team with day‑to‑day tasks
- Helping to source and purchase tools and materials
- Identifying maintenance and decoration needs and reporting them to management
- Completing mandatory online training
- Working safely at all times and keeping work areas safe for others
Occasional out‑of‑hours work may be required due to the nature of the role.
About You
