We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our bank Team at Spire Elland. This role is very flexible and will suit the needs of someone who is looking for a work/life balance with flexibility to pick up regular shifts. Spire Elland Hospital has been providing high levels of medical treatment and personal care since 1985. Our hospital has a full multi-disciplinary medical team on-site who practice some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Scrub for major and minor cases including but not limited to Orthopaedics, General and Thoracic.
- Support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs.
- Actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect, collate and organize data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.
- Develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security and infection control, lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices.
Who we're looking for:
- HCPC Registered or NMC Registered – with no restrictions.
- Must have scrub experience.
- Must have experience working in Orthopaedics.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills are key to continue our high standards of patient care.
- Experience of working in teams and with minimum supervision.
