We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse for our Staffing Bank based on the wards at Spire Bushey Hospital.

The hospital offers a premium service in key areas of complex healthcare including orthopaedics, neurology, spinal, general, cardiac care, and gynaecology.

Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre – based on Centennial Park in Elstree - just 5 minutes from the main hospital site.

Duties and responsibilities

  • You will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
  • Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individuals’ health and wellbeing needs.
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
  • Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
  • Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing services.
  • Who we're looking for
  • Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Have a minimum of 1 months, post-graduation, Hospital experience.
  • Have been employed in surgical or acute settings
  • You will have excellent communication, organisation and provide the best quality of patient care.
  • Must be very flexible
  • Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
  • A surgical background is essential.

Working Hours

We operate a 24/7 ward and offer both days and night shifts.
