Spire Thames Valley Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ward Team on a bank basis. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about high‑quality surgical care and are looking for flexible work within a well‑respected private healthcare environment. You will be joining a highly skilled, supportive multidisciplinary team, where patient care, clinical excellence, and professional standards are at the heart of everything we do. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver high‑quality nursing care across a varied and sometimes complex caseload
- Support patients’ physical, emotional, and clinical needs throughout their hospital stay
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues, including the handling of sensitive or complex information
- Work collaboratively within the MDT, contributing to safe, effective, and patient‑centred care
- Promote best practice in health, safety, infection prevention, and clinical governance
- Support service development and share knowledge to enhance team capability and patient outcomes

- A Registered Nurse (NMC) with no restrictions on practice
- Confident working independently while being a strong team player
- Experienced in an acute hospital ward environment
- Clinically competent across a range of nursing skills, underpinned by professional knowledge and sound judgement
