Spire Thames Valley Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ward Team on a bank basis. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about high‑quality surgical care and are looking for flexible work within a well‑respected private healthcare environment. You will be joining a highly skilled, supportive multidisciplinary team, where patient care, clinical excellence, and professional standards are at the heart of everything we do. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver high‑quality nursing care across a varied and sometimes complex caseload
  • Support patients’ physical, emotional, and clinical needs throughout their hospital stay
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues, including the handling of sensitive or complex information
  • Work collaboratively within the MDT, contributing to safe, effective, and patient‑centred care
  • Promote best practice in health, safety, infection prevention, and clinical governance
  • Support service development and share knowledge to enhance team capability and patient outcomes

Who we’re looking for:

  • A Registered Nurse (NMC) with no restrictions on practice
  • Confident working independently while being a strong team player
  • Experienced in an acute hospital ward environment
  • Clinically competent across a range of nursing skills, underpinned by professional knowledge and sound judgement

Contract: Bank

Working Hours: Day Shifts 07:00 -19:30, Night Shifts 19:00 - 07:30
