We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialist Registered Children's Nurse to join our Children & Young People's department on a permanent contract. The role is for 37.5 hours per week covering a mix of early and late shifts Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering excellent post-surgical care to paediatric patients
  • Assisting in clinics, minor operations and recovery
  • Assist in the delivery of family centred care to meet the health and wellbeing needs of patients
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
  • Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
  • Promotes best practice in Health and Safety, security, and safeguarding the welfare of children

Qualifications

  • Be NMC registered Nurse with a Children qualification – pin should have no restrictions or conditions
  • Previous experience within a surgical setting would be advantageous
  • Have the ability to transfer skills through a variety of clinical areas
