Spire Leicester Hospital is looking for a passionate and experienced Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse to join our growing Cancer Services team. Your Role: As a Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse, you will:

  • Act as a key worker, supporting patients through complex cancer pathways
  • Deliver safe, high‑quality chemotherapy (SACT) and holistic patient care
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate care across a dynamic and varied caseload
  • Communicate sensitive information with professionalism and empathy
  • Support and drive service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Promote best practice in infection control, safety, and patient wellbeing

What We're Looking For: You’ll be a confident and compassionate nurse who thrives in a specialist setting:

  • Registered Nurse with relevant oncology experience
  • Qualified in SACT administration (accredited)
  • Competent in venepuncture, cannulation, and CVAD management
  • Experience managing complex cancer patient caseloads
  • Comfortable working independently within a nurse‑led environment
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision‑making skills
  • Committed to continuous professional development
