Spire Norwich Hospital is looking for a dynamic and experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team. In this role you will be expected to provide quality care and imaging to a varied patient caseload.
Main duties of the job
- Provide highly skilled and specialised MRI imaging for patients within the Imaging Department.
- Deliver clinical and managerial leadership and provide educational and development expertise to the team.
- Support the assessment of patients’ health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet patient needs.
- Promote best practice, contribute to quality improvements, collect, collate and organise data, interpret information, and make justifiable assessments available to relevant others.
- Cover a wide variety of surgical procedures including cardiac, spinal and orthopaedic imaging.
Job responsibilities
- Be HCPC registered with no restrictions or conditions.
- Have strong experience in MRI; CT experience is an advantage.
- Possess compassion and demonstrate excellent patient care.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Mammography experience would be an advantage.
- Complete a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm.
- Flexible shift pattern across the week (two long days and two 7.5-hour shifts).
- Permanent contract.
