Overview

Spire Norwich Hospital is seeking an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant to join the Physiotherapy department on a bank, flexible working basis.

The physiotherapy assistant will assist the multidisciplinary team to provide exemplary physiotherapy care within the physiotherapy department and on the wards.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake routine tasks related to individuals' health and wellbeing.
  • Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent.
  • Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters.
  • Support the implementation of services and contribute to maintaining quality and safety.
  • Promote equality, diversity and rights of patients.
  • Collect, collate and report routine data and information; assist in applying technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a health and/or social environment or hold an appropriate qualification e. g. NVQ
  • Good command of English language and basic maths (GCSE or equivalent)
  • IT literate

Experience

  • Previous experience in a health and/or social environment
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Check

Working pattern

Bank contract with variable, flexible shifts including weekdays and weekends; includes day and evening work as required.
