Overview
Spire Norwich Hospital is seeking an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant to join the Physiotherapy department on a bank, flexible working basis.
The physiotherapy assistant will assist the multidisciplinary team to provide exemplary physiotherapy care within the physiotherapy department and on the wards.
Responsibilities
- Undertake routine tasks related to individuals' health and wellbeing.
- Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent.
- Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters.
- Support the implementation of services and contribute to maintaining quality and safety.
- Promote equality, diversity and rights of patients.
- Collect, collate and report routine data and information; assist in applying technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a health and/or social environment or hold an appropriate qualification e. g. NVQ
- Good command of English language and basic maths (GCSE or equivalent)
- IT literate
