Spire Leicester Hospital seeks a part‑time Housekeeper (22 hours) to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout all areas of the hospital. Competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Main duties:
- Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready and set to the correct layout as needed, and both offices and public areas are clean.
- Work in close liaison with clinical staff to meet the varying needs of the hospital.
- Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations, including COSHH.
- Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.
Qualifications & experience:
- Experience of working in a similar role in a customer‑facing environment.
- Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety at Work and COSHH.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with all customers.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work on own initiative and with a methodical approach to work.
- Maintains high standards.
- Ability to work evenings and possibly some weekends.
