Spire Cheshire Hospital, Warrington are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Engineer to join our established maintenance team.

Working Hours: Combination of shifts between 7 am and 5 pm Monday-Friday, Weekend working may be required
Contract Type: Full time – Permanent
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work as part of the engineering team providing a comprehensive and cost-effective engineering service within the hospital.
Duties and responsibilities
- To provide in-house day to day maintenance service across the hospital
- Engineering Maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital
- To receive review, prioritise and act on all maintenance requests from departments and maintain records of work undertaken on CMMS
- Work from fault logs and allocate tasks within area of responsibility
- To provide out of hours emergency on-call service
What you need to have
- Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle is essential
- Recognized apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with City & Guilds Qualification
- Knowledge of electrical safety, decontamination, medical gas pipeline systems, legionella and HVAC
- Significant Hospital or Healthcare experience is desirable but not essential
