Spire Clare Park Hospital is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a full‑time permanent role in Farnham. The role supports pharmacy services such as ordering, stock control and drug preparation in a modern elective hospital rated "Good" by the CQC.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist technical service to support the pharmacy department and other areas stocking medicines.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels within the Pharmacy department.
  • Assist with procurement of pharmaceutical stock for the pharmacy and other departments using electronic systems.
  • Participate in pharmacy and departmental stock takes.
  • Provide general administrative support to the department.
  • Contribute to safe and effective use of medicines, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Work shifts Monday to Friday 8am‑6pm with rotational Saturdays.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification or equivalent.
  • Hospital experience; community‑based pharmacy technicians not considered.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong team player with ability to work effectively independently as required.
