Spire Clare Park Hospital is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a full‑time permanent role in Farnham. The role supports pharmacy services such as ordering, stock control and drug preparation in a modern elective hospital rated "Good" by the CQC.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist technical service to support the pharmacy department and other areas stocking medicines.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels within the Pharmacy department.
- Assist with procurement of pharmaceutical stock for the pharmacy and other departments using electronic systems.
- Participate in pharmacy and departmental stock takes.
- Provide general administrative support to the department.
- Contribute to safe and effective use of medicines, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Work shifts Monday to Friday 8am‑6pm with rotational Saturdays.
Qualifications & Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification or equivalent.
- Hospital experience; community‑based pharmacy technicians not considered.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong team player with ability to work effectively independently as required.
