Spire Clare Park is now recruiting an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our warm and friendly team on the bank. There are varied shifts available between Monday and Saturday. For over 35 years, Spire Clare Park Hospital has been providing surgery, medical care, outpatients and diagnostic imaging services for adults, children and young people within Surrey and Hampshire. Recently rated “Good” by the CQC, we offer a wide range of surgical specialities including cosmetic surgery, bones & joints, eye surgery, general surgery and women’s health. Our on‑site facilities include three operating theatres (two with laminar flow), two wards with 34 registered beds used flexibly for inpatients and day care, and a three‑bed enhanced recovery unit.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Outpatients team in providing exemplary patient care.
- Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients.
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect a patient’s health and well‑being to the appropriate person.
- Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment.
- Experience within Outpatients or a similar environment (essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (essential).
- NVQ Level 3 (desirable but not essential).
- Experience in ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures, and patient observations.
Working Hours and Contract:
- Bank Healthcare Assistant – Outpatients – Farnham.
- Zero Hours contract with flexible working.
- Varied shifts Monday to Saturday.
