As our Deputy Outpatients Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Outpatients Manager in ensuring the smooth, efficient and high‑quality running of our services. You'll balance clinical work with leadership responsibilities, champion Spire's values and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Outpatients Manager in the development and delivery of exceptional outpatient services.
  • Leading clinical and operational activities to ensure we meet key performance and quality standards.
  • Acting as a role model promoting behaviours that align with Spire's purpose and values.
  • Ensuring patient information is managed in line with Data Protection and hospital policies.
  • Encouraging a safe, inclusive, high‑quality working environment.
  • Assisting with audits, governance, risk management and performance reviews.
  • Building strong working relationships with external partners to share best practice.
  • Taking responsibility for departmental management when the Outpatients Manager is unavailable.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) with a relevant Diploma or Degree.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Senior‑level experience within an outpatients setting.
  • Experience leading a team and working autonomously.
  • Experience managing clinical audits (desirable).

Contract:

A flexible working pattern of 37.5 hours over 4/5 days per week Monday to Saturday 07:30‑21:00.
