Spire Leicester Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Children's Nurse to join our Children and Young People's team on a bank basis. This role offers flexible shifts across both the inpatient ward and outpatient department, supporting a variety of paediatric services.
The Role
- Support the delivery of high-quality care to children, young people, and their families
- Work across both inpatient and outpatient settings including chaperoning, minor procedures, pre‑assessments and phlebotomy appointments
- Assess patients' health and wellbeing across a varied caseload
- Promote safe practice, safeguarding, and infection prevention standards
- Support the wider nursing team and contribute to the ongoing development of the service
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, consultants, and colleagues
What We're Looking For
- Registered Children's Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and no restrictions
- Experience working within a children's ward and outpatient setting
- Paediatric experience across a range of clinical areas and patient needs
- Flexible, organised, and able to adapt to service demands
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- PILS/EPALS training desirable
