Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Theatre Healthcare Assistant to join the bank team. Duties and responsibilities:
- To assist the multi-disciplinary operating team to provide exemplary care by offering a timely portering service.
- The service will include escorting patients between ward, departments and theatre suite; transporting equipment, medical records, meals, specimens and linen; moving furniture.
- Routine tasks related to patient’s health and well being.
- Production and communication of information and knowledge.
- Contribute to own personal development.
- Assist in maintaining own and others' health and safety and security.
- Assist in maintaining and developing services.
- Ensure own actions help to maintain quality.
- Ensure own actions support equality, diversity and rights.
- Move patients, surgical equipment and goods.
- Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
