Spire Claremont Hospitalhas an exciting opportunity for a Bank Specialist MRI Radiographer to join our experienced and dynamic Imaging team.This is a bank role working ad hoc shifts to cover annual leave and sickness.

Spire Claremont Hospital has provided first-class independent healthcare at the heart of the South Yorkshire community since 1953. Our hospital is situated among beautifully landscaped grounds in Crosspool, Sheffield and it is situated 3 miles (about 20 minutes) to the south west of Sheffield city centre.

Claremont Hospital has 42 beds, three laminar flow theatres, 13 consulting rooms, a static MRI and CT scanner, and plain and digital X-ray. The hospital provides surgery and outpatients with diagnostic imaging services.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide general imaging for patients within the radiographic department
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
  • Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security
  • Keeping accurate records and updating records when needed
  • Ensuring a high standard of patient care is maintained throughout

Who we're looking for:

Essential Requirements

  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Post-registration experience in MRI imaging.
  • Strong understanding of MRI safety procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to meet service requirements.

Desirable

  • Experience working on Siemens MRI systems.
  • Previous experience within an independent healthcare setting.
  • IV Cannulation qualification.
  • Knowledge and experience of contrast‑enhanced MRI procedures.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
