Spire Manchester is now recruiting an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join their warm and friendly team. Spire Manchester Hospital is a £65m state‑of‑the‑art healthcare facility offering you the opportunity to work across a wide variety of specialisms. You will be able to develop your clinical skills in a modern and progressive environment. The Manchester team currently consists of over 800 colleagues and we are rapidly expanding as we increase the scope of services we provide across our experienced and dynamic teams.

Your role:

  • Scrub for consultant‑led orthopaedic surgeries, supporting procedures of varying complexity.
  • Assess patients’ health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload.
  • Develop and deliver personalised care plans, considering perioperative risks and patient safety.
  • Work collaboratively within a high‑performing multidisciplinary theatre team, maintaining Spire’s exceptional standards of care.

Who we’re looking for:

  • HCPC registered ODP or NMC registered Nurse.
  • Essential: Significant major Orthopaedic Scrub experience; Spinal experience desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Confident working across a multidisciplinary team.
  • Motivation to develop further — SFA training fully supported.
