Spire Cambridge Lea have an exciting opportunity to join our bank as a Radiology Assistant in the imaging department.
Duties and responsibilities
- Support patients undergoing investigations working alongside our radiographers and specialist radiographers.
- Contribute to the support and monitoring of patients.
- Identify and report any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person.
- Assist with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies.
Who we're looking for
- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical/acute environment.
- Current experience assisting for ultrasound examinations including interventional studies and MRI (Desirable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- NVQ Level 2 in a Health related subject is desirable (but not essential).
- NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential.
Working Hours
Zero-hour contract, Adhoc shifts to suit - Monday - Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm.
