Spire Shawfair Park Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join their Staffing Bank in the Outpatients Department.

This role requires someone who is very flexible to work ad‑hoc shift patterns.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary planned care for patients while managing more than one clinical team.
  • Assist the clinical team in delivering exemplary care within the department and provide healthcare assistance to the nursing team.
  • Perform routine tasks related to the delivery of care to ensure patients’ health and well‑being.
  • Move and set up diagnostic equipment (after training) and other resources, and apply technology for measurement, monitoring, and treatment.
  • Who we're looking for
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential.
  • Previous experience as an HCA in a hospital setting, surgical ward, or general ward is required.
  • System literacy is essential; proficiency in MS Office and SAP is desirable.
  • Must be accurate and have a strong attention to detail.
