Spire Abergele are looking for a Healthcare assistant to join the team on a part time basis. We are looking for someone with experience in an outpatient/clinic/GP Practice . Spire Abergele Clinic provides outpatient and day case treatments by a team of dedicated consultants and healthcare professionals.
Clinic Opening hours - shifts will range between these times.
- Monday - Friday 0800-20:00
- Saturday 0800-16:00
- Sunday - Closed
The responsibilities of this role will include:
- Assisting the team across outpatients and theatres in the provision of exemplary patient care
- Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
- Assisting with the movement of patients in line with clinic policies
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinic or hospital environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in : ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
- Good team work ethic
- Enthusiastic and energetic professional
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care /Care Certificate / NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
