Spire Little Aston Hospital in Sutton Coldfield has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join our dynamic housekeeping team working 30 hours per week on a permanent basis. As Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas of the hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready set to the correct layout as needed and both offices and public areas are clean.
- Work in close liaison with clinical staff dealing with varying needs of the hospital.
- Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHH.
Who are we looking for?
- No formal qualifications required – you must communicate clearly with staff and patients, and maintain a high standard of personal appearance suitable for a professional healthcare environment.
- Experience in a similar role, in a customer‑facing environment.
- Ability to establish rapport with all customers.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work on own initiative with a methodical approach.
- Maintains high standards.
- Ability to work evenings and possibly some weekends.
Contract type: 30 hours per week – Permanent, working 5 days per week on a rota. Please only apply if you can commit to this.
