Spire Claremont Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Radiographer to join our experienced and dynamic Imaging team. This is a bank role working ad hoc shifts to cover annual leave and sickness. Spire Claremont Hospital has provided first-class independent healthcare at the heart of the South Yorkshire community since 1953. Our hospital is situated among beautifully landscaped grounds in Crosspool, Sheffield and it is situated 3 miles (about 20 minutes) to the southwest of Sheffield city centre. Claremont Hospital has 42 beds, three laminar flow theatres with a fourth minor ops theatre, 13 consulting rooms, JAG accredited Endoscopy suite, a static MRI and CT scanner, and plain and digital X-ray. The hospital provides surgery and outpatients with diagnostic imaging services.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide general imaging for patients within the radiographic department
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
  • Develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security
  • Keeping accurate records and updating records when needed
  • Ensuring a high standard of patient care is maintained throughout

Who we're looking for:

  • You will hold a Diploma or Degree in Radiography and be registered with the HCPC.
  • MRI/CT experience is desirable but not essential.
  • You will need to possess strong communication skills and have a good standard of IT.
  • Previous experience within private healthcare is desirable but not essential.
