Spire is currently going through an exciting phase of their journey and opening a clinic in Perth, Scotland which is due to be open towards the end of the year/beginning of 2027. We are looking for driven candidates who are passionate about private healthcare to come along on this amazing journey with us. For the opening of the new clinic we are looking for a Community and Relationship Manager to join the team.

Spire Healthcare is one of the UK’s leading independent hospital groups and the largest in terms of revenue, with 38 hospitals and eight clinics across England, Wales and Scotland. Our Spire Clinics deliver a specific range of lower risk outpatient and day case treatments (all on a local anaesthetic basis), which provides faster care for day case patients. The Clinical specialties include Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Gynaecology and Orthopaedics.

This role will be based at Spire’s new outpatient and diagnostic clinic in Perth.

General responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships within the Perth, Fife, Dundee and wider Central Northern Scottish communities to establish Perth Clinic as a trusted local healthcare destination.
  • Develop partnerships with local businesses, corporate organisations, gyms, physios and wellbeing providers to drive awareness and referrals.
  • Represent Spire at local networking opportunities, community forums and business events.
  • Create and deliver a programme of community-facing initiatives that increase visibility and engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local referrers including GPs, physiotherapists, and primary care networks.
  • Contribute to the delivery of local marketing initiatives aligned to the Perth growth strategy.
  • Plan and deliver community events, patient education evenings and consultant-led talks.
  • Collaborate with central marketing teams & Hub marketing leads to generate localised content, PR opportunities and social media storytelling.
  • Support the promotion of consultants and services through promoting patient events and primary healthcare relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with hub commercial, operational and marketing teams to deliver Perth’s growth ambitions.
  • Act as a visible and proactive presence within Perth Clinic, championing continuous improvement.
  • Support wider business development initiatives across the Scottish Hub as required.
  • In partnership with key stakeholders use insight and local intelligence to inform growth plans and commercial priorities.
Required qualities and skills:
  • Understanding of the UK private healthcare system.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Competent user of MS Office.
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • A passion and drive to succeed.
