The Role
Personal Assistant to the Hospital Director | Oadby Leicester | Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week | Spire Leicester Hospital
has an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive PA to the Hospital Director to join our team at Spire Leicester Hospital, providing crucial support during a 6-month secondment cover.
This is a busy and rewarding role, where your ability to manage complex diaries and take accurate, professional minutes will be essential to keeping the hospital running smoothly.
As PA to the Hospital Director, you will:
- Expertly manage the Hospital Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings, coordinating priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide high-quality minute-taking in meetings, capturing key actions and ensuring these are followed up promptly.
- Coordinate daily schedules and briefings, ensuring the Hospital Director and senior leaders are fully prepared.
- Organise hospital meetings, briefings, and events, preparing agendas, reports, and communications.
- Liaise with consultants, hospital teams, and external visitors to support effective communication.
- Arrange travel, itineraries, and hospitality for senior visitors and VIPs.
- Reconcile expenses and maintain accurate business and financial records.
- Support the Hospital Director and Senior Management Team in ensuring a professional and efficient office.

- Proven PA/administrative experience, ideally supporting senior management.
- Exceptional diary management and organisational skills.
- Strong minute-taking ability with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (knowledge of Zoom desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Discretion when handling confidential information.
- A flexible, proactive approach, able to work independently and as part of a team.
