Job Description: Temporary Maintenance Assistant
Circle Flex is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services, and we are currently seeking a temporary Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities remain in excellent condition, contributing to the overall safety and comfort of our patients and staff.
Located at the Spire Alexandra Hospital in Walderslade, Chatham, Kent, this position offers an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in a healthcare environment while playing a vital role in maintaining the hospital's infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be expected to start on 6th October 2026 and will be engaged on a temporary basis, concluding on the same date. Shifts will run from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM, allowing for a full day of impactful work within our facilities.
Your responsibilities as a Maintenance Assistant will encompass a wide range of tasks. You will be integral in performing general maintenance tasks which include, but are not limited to, basic repairs, painting, and ensuring that all facilities are safe and operational for both patients and staff. Each task you undertake will contribute to the ongoing commitment of Spire Healthcare Ltd in providing a high standard of care.
Effective communication skills are essential for this role, as you will work closely with various teams across the hospital. Your ability to interact professionally with other staff members will ensure that maintenance tasks are conducted efficiently and with minimal disruption to daily operations. You'll also have the opportunity to suggest improvements and enhancements to maintenance processes, making your input valuable to our ongoing initiatives.
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be expected to demonstrate a proactive approach to your duties. This includes identifying potential maintenance issues before they elevate. By regularly inspecting facilities, you will help to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment. Your vigilance is key to upholding the high standards that Spire Healthcare embodies.
The role requires a hands-on attitude and the capability to operate various maintenance tools and equipment safely.
