Spire Leeds is currently looking to recruit for a Private Patient Sales Advisor to work on a flexible working basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly team. As Private Patient Coordinator, you will support Self-Pay patient enquiries at either enquiry, outpatient or in care stage as well as providing the support for patients with private medical insurance. The role will support the conversion of warm leads into appointments and admissions in order to meet key performance targets whilst delivering our Purpose of providing ‘outstanding personalised care.’
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
- Manage inbound Self-Pay patient enquiries, in person, over the telephone and online/email, from initial enquiry through to booking by providing a timely and conscientious service.
- Through a consultative approach proactively convert patients post consultation to imaging, physiotherapy or surgical admission depending on their need ensuring patients get the treatment they need within the Spire network.
- Support Patient Service Centres at peak times specifically with the follow up of quotes.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with prospective patients via telephone and email, to provide information regarding pricing, procedures, consultants, availability taking bookings and payments where appropriate.
- Work closely with consultants and medical administration teams to follow up and inform patients as to the next steps in their care.
- Support patients in the navigation of Insured (PMI) pathways where your skills will support a smooth patient pathway within the Spire Network this may include supporting patients to get preauthorisation.
- Support patients requiring specialised services find the right part of the Spire network for their care to ensure continuity for the patient and retention for Spire.
