It provides diagnostics, inpatient, day case and outpatient care, operates a network of private GPs and provides workplace health services to over 800 corporate clients. It also delivers a range of private and NHS mental health, musculoskeletal and dermatological services.
We are currently seeking an Insight Manager to assist in driving our insight capability forward in the four core areas of: Market and Competitor Intelligence, Consumer Insight, Customer, Consultant & Colleague Insight as well as Business Performance in Context.
Key Responsibilities- Working independently, you will proactively identify business issues and support with Insight tools and projects towards the implementation of solutions.
- Contributing to our market intelligence tools, including our market propensity model (the Spire Opportunity Tool), market share reporting and PESTLE analysis.
- Devising competitor intelligence, developing and maintaining our competitor database and keeping competitor profiles and news up to date.
- Building our knowledge of consumers through ad-hoc consumer surveys and qualitative research studies to understand consumer drivers, barriers and needs and inform our marketing strategy.
- Continuing to develop our understanding of customer, consultant and colleague needs through their journey and interactions with us.
- Managing and developing our continuous customer experience surveys, managing agency partners in the delivery of story-led insights that lead to ongoing improvements.
- Analysing, reporting and presenting on our annual consultant survey and continuing to develop our understanding of the consultant experience.
- Supporting with analysis of our annual colleague survey and working on developments of our understanding of colleague needs and experiences at different moments of truth in their Spire Healthcare career.
- Managing our brand tracking and econometric modelling to assess the effectiveness of our marketing.
- Supporting with analysis of business performance in the context of the market situation, consumer insight and 3Cs experience.
- Extensive relevant work experience, ideally gained on the client-side and with time spent in business consulting.
- Experienced in synthesising multiple data sources to create compelling narratives to describe the market situation, consumer drivers, barriers and needs, customer needs and satisfaction and how these influence business performance.
- Solid understanding of how businesses work and operate and how to manage stakeholders of different seniority levels.
- Proficient in relationship management, negotiating and influencing stakeholders.
- Proficient in core market research skills in questionnaire design, data analysis, the creation of continuous reporting templates, presentation development and report writing. Advanced user of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Proficiency in Insight knowledge management and communication planning would be advantageous.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent with a human-centred element and scientific or statistical angle (e.g. marketing, psychology, sociology, economics, biology, statistics, human-centred design etc.) is highly desirable.
- An advanced marketing or market research diploma or other technical qualification is desirable, but not essential.
