Spire Gatwick Park Hospital is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the bank within outpatients. You are looking for an experienced HCA within Outpatients or acute surgical wards looking for flexible shifts. Duties and responsibilities:
- Assisting the outpatient team in the provision of exemplary patient care
- Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
- Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies
Who we’re looking for:
- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
- Experience ideally within OPD, will consider acute surgical ward or POA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
- Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
Working Hours: Flexible shifts early 8-4, late 1-8 and Saturday 8-2 (we cannot guarantee how many shifts per week will be available) opening times are 0730-2030. Shifts may vary on 7.5 hour shifts to long days if preferred.
Contract Type: BANK, 0 hours contract
