Spire Murrayfield Hospital in Edinburgh has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiographer to join our fantastic imaging department on a bank basis. Murrayfield hospital was established as a purpose built hospital in 1984, conveniently located in the west of Edinburgh. In 2015 our consulting rooms had a Β£1 million refurbishment. In 2010 we opened Shawfair Park Hospital, a day case facility, based in south east Edinburgh. Each of our hospitals practice some of the most advanced treatments supported by the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading edge surgical procedures and cancer care.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Delivering high quality imaging services to a range of patients within the department and in theatres
- Interpreting patient data using all of the relevant components to assist in making accurate clinical diagnosis
Who we are looking for:
- Valid HCPC registration
- BSc in Radiography or equivalent
- Post registration experience relevant to the role
- The ability to work efficiently, independently and as part of a wider team
- Excellent attention to detail with high levels of technical knowledge
