Bank Physiotherapy Assistant | Norwich | Flexible Working | Mainly Weekends, with some weekday cover required | Competitive Rates
Spire Norwich Hospital is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapy Assistant to join our friendly physiotherapy team on a bank basis.
This is a flexible role with the opportunity to work mainly weekends, alongside some weekday shifts as required, supporting out inpatient services.
You will play a vital role in delivering high quality care and supporting our Physiotherapists in providing treatment to a wide range of patients, including orthopaedic and surgical cases.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assisting the physiotherapists with safe delivery of treatment plans
- Supporting patients with mobility, exercise programmes and rehabilitation activities
- Preparing treatment areas and equipment for use
- Monitoring and recording patient progress in line with department procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients
Who we\\\’re looking for
- Previous experience within in a healthcare, therapy or support role
- A genuine interest in physiotherapy and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a MDT
- Flexible approach, with availability for weekend shifts
