Spire Alexandra Hospital are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the bank within outpatients.
Experience in Outpatients or acute surgical wards and flexibility for shifts are required.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assisting the outpatient team in the provision of exemplary patient care
- Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
- Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies
Who we're looking for:
- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
- Experience ideally within OPD; will consider acute surgical ward or POA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
- Experience in ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
Working Hours:
Shifts are on an adhoc basis. Between 08:00-21:00 Mon-Friday and 08:00-16:00 Sat.
Contract Type: Bank, 0 hours contract.
