We are currently seeking a temporary Catering Assistant to join the team at Spire Bushey Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, providing support to the catering team., As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving meals to patients and staff, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and following all health and safety guidelines.
You will also be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience for all hospital visitors.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working in a catering environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team. A food hygiene certificate would be advantageous but is not essential.
This position requires someone who is reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under pressure. You must also be willing to follow instructions and adhere to strict food safety standards.
In addition, you will receive a competitive payment rate of £87.20 per shift and the chance to work within a supportive and friendly team environment.
