Overview
Year in Industry – Environment, Health & Safety Placement 2026 at Spirax Sarco (Cheltenham, UK). We have two exciting, hands-on placements within our Environment, Health & Safety teams: UK Supply EHS Placement and UK Sales EHS Placement. This is a 12-month placement for students on a work-placement requirement in their degree.
Responsibilities
- Support improvement projects and day-to-day operations across production, engineering, assembly, and distribution.
- Contribute to safety initiatives, lead audits, assist with incident investigations, and help shape a positive safety culture.
- Gain exposure to environmental standards, sustainability frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop practical skills in compliance, communication, data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support incident investigations, risk assessment planning, and data analysis using EHS software (UK Sales EHS role).
Requirements
- Currently studying a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a requirement to complete a work placement.
- Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship for the duration of the 12-month placement (July 2026 until July 2027).
- Applicants must be part of an agreed University placement scheme.
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to drive meaningful change in safety and sustainability.
