Job Summary:

Reporting to the National OEM&MDD Sales Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day sales development tasks in the Chinese medical industry, take charge of business development in South China, and work with two subordinates to achieve the team's business growth goals. The position is located in cities around Shanghai or in Guangdong Province, supporting remote work combined with office work at the Shanghai headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Focus on developing customer business in the medical device industry, with key sub-industries including but not limited to IVD, surgical equipment, medical diagnosis, and medical product manufacturers; independently undertake business development in South China and work with the team to promote the overall business growth of China's medical industry.
  • Key account development & management: Host weekly/monthly sales meetings for Medical team, SDA customer development and new market development communication meetings; help the team improve key account management performance, understand key account buying processes and decision making processes, build long-term relationships with important stakeholders to create strategic partnerships.
  • Business Development: Create application learning & sharing process for the team members; sort out and update customer needs and pain points, and provide targeted solutions for medical industry customers, supply case studies information for marketing campaigns, and support the team in developing new applications and potential market businesses.
  • Cross-team Collaboration: Cooperate with the company's internal technical support, customer service, finance & production teams to promote the sales of localized products; learn from different experience of medical team from the other regions of the Group.
  • Business Innovation: Use creative thinking to explore different ways of business expansion, combining direct sales and channel management experience to optimize business development strategies.

Skills/Experience:

  • Work Mode Adaptability: Be able to adapt to the work mode of remote work combined with office work at the Shanghai headquarters and have the ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Professional Experience: Have dual experience in direct sales and channel management; practical habit to work with sales funnel to manage team projects, experience in OEM product sales or medical industry customer sales is a plus.
  • Business Ability: Have strong business development ability, creative thinking, familiar with consultative selling skills (understand SPIN is a plus), and the ability to explore new business models and potential markets; be able to sort out customer needs and provide effective solutions through make the best use of internal or even external resources.
  • Team Management & Coordination: Have good team management, communication and coordination skills, be able to host efficient team meetings, guide subordinates on value selling, and cooperate with cross-departmental teams.
  • Target Orientation: Have a strong sense of target, be able to bear work pressure, and ensure the completion of the sales opco's annual growth targets.
  • Industry Insight: Have a certain understanding of the medical device industry (including IVD, surgical equipment, medical diagnosis, etc.) and be able to quickly grasp industry trends and customer needs.
  • Communication Skills: Have good oral and written communication skills, and be able to effectively communicate with internal teams, subordinates, customers and Global supply teams. Good written and oral English will be a plus as strength.
