Logistics Operative (PM Shift) (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Role Overview

Join our dynamic logistics team as a Logistics Operator (Shift Based), working the late shift from 14:00 to 23:30, Monday to Thursday. Based at our Runnings Road site, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics functions, including goods receipt, stock handling, order picking, packing, and dispatch. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction.

Your Objectives And Responsibilities Will Focus On…

  • Executing all key logistics tasks across Goods Receiving Bay (GRB), North Stores, and Distribution Centre (DC).
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders to meet OTTR (On Time To Request) targets.
  • Operating MRP systems and maintaining accurate transaction records.
  • Handling material using various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and ensuring safe disposal of waste streams.
  • Supporting and complying with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) practices.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent service.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to team discussions.
  • Taking ownership of your personal development and supporting team goals.

Your Previous Experience Is Likely To Include….

  • Experience in a high-volume warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proficiency in using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • A track record of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience operating multiple types of MHE (e.g., ride-on, forklift, reach truck).
  • Confidence in leading team discussions and contributing to business-wide projects.
