Role Overview:

Reporting to the ESMU Engineering Team Leader, the Project & Commercial Coordinator plays a key role in manufactured solutions with a strong emphasis on commercial performance. This includes ensuring accurate documentation, timely delivery, scheduling and clear communication with internal and external teams and clients. The role supports profitability and compliance while maintaining high standards of service and collaborating with ESMU customers.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on:

  • Provide project support across scheduling, documentation and supply chain including subcontract management to optimise customer service performance.
  • Support generation and distribution of bespoke packaged system documentation packs that contain D of C, parts lists, test reports, engineering specification standards manuals, essential safety requirements, systems specifications, technical files etc.
  • Communicate with internal and external suppliers to ensure that all products included in bespoke packaged systems are compliant with the necessary supporting documentation for offering.
  • Liaise with ESMU Quality Engineer, Compliance & Quality Manager and quality team where applicable to ensure all bespoke packaged systems are signed off and approved for completion in line with company procedural documentation.
  • Support to action Internal Failure (NCR) and associated Field Failure (FFR) complaints and issues via the Fusion Product Life Cycle (PLM) system, including dispositions, investigations and timely reporting. Including decisive decisions attributed to remedial, containment and solutions.
  • Lead and participate in projects and continuous improvement activities to enhance end-to-end ESMU processes.
  • Assist associates/operating companies in the UK and overseas as required to accommodate requests related to technical documentation, scheduling and escalations.
  • Process ownership, management and maintenance of technical documentation templates to ensure compliance for all ESMU product ranges.
  • Print product nameplates and manage printer cartridge stock levels.
  • Develop and support engineering projects including scheduling.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and logistics to review, approve and maintain 3.1 material certificates within the PLM system, resolve any issues encountered with relevant parties internal or external.
  • Process control and support to compile 3.1 material certificate documentation for standard product and bespoke packages systems where applicable.
  • Deliver planned performance levels in accordance with agreed departmental key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Active involvement to resolve internal and external issues to ensure quality, compliant product is delivered in line with customer service metrics.
  • Actively engage with business and departmental continuous improvement initiatives.
