We are seeking a highly skilled Packages Product Manager to join our Innovation and Product Management team. This is a pivotal role for a technically minded product specialist who understands market dynamics, customer needs, and the journey from concept to commercialisation.
You will drive the sustainable long‑term growth of our Packages and Decarbonisation portfolio, ensuring our products remain competitive, profitable, and aligned with evolving customer and sector needs. This role blends technical, engineering, commercial, and strategic product management responsibilities - ideal for someone who thrives in a cross‑functional, globally connected environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct situational analyses to understand market drivers, strategic trends, and competitive forces.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects during market assessment phases.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OpCos and customers to gather deep market intelligence and understand current and future needs.
- Lead activities related to the management and development of the Packages and Decarbonisation portfolio.
- Act as an active member of cross‑functional development teams, owning gate reviews, gathering user requirements, and creating technical specifications.
- Support quality initiatives and the implementation of Engineering Change Requests.
- Develop compelling sales collateral including technical literature, brochures, videos, sizing tools, and training materials.
- Support global sales adoption and successful product launches through training sessions and promotional activities.
- Contribute to a sustainable ideation process through collaboration with Global Sales teams to maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Carry out any additional reasonable tasks required to support business and product objectives.
- 4+ years' experience in product management or a similar technical-commercial role.
- Experience working in operational sales environments serving diverse end‑user applications.
- Background in market‑led product development and commercialisation, ideally involving turnkey systems such as industrial heating, heat recovery, or decarbonisation solutions.
- Experience in strategic business development within an engineering‑focused industry.
- Strong experience collaborating with Global Operating Companies (OpCos) across Sales, Services, and Supply functions.
- Proven customer-facing commercial and technical experience.
- A background in innovation is highly desirable.
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communicator, able to inspire, influence, and motivate stakeholders.
- Highly collaborative, adaptable, and effective across multiple functions and business environments.
- Experience in sales, business development, and marketing, preferably within steam or thermal technology sectors.
