Late Shift Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 14:00 to 23:30 (30‑minute paid break). Friday: Non‑working day.

Location: Cheltenham, UK (On‑site)

Role Overview

The post‑holder will set and operate CNC lathes.

Responsibilities

  • Setting computer numerically controlled lathes (CNC)
  • Producing parts to drawing, deburring, cleaning and packaging as per set procedures
  • Ensuring excellent quality by inspecting parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres
  • Understanding and complying with Company Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) practices, identifying areas for improvement and supporting related initiatives
  • Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), production rates, workplace organisation, front line operator asset care (FLOAC), maintenance and cleanliness of machine equipment

Previous Experience

  • Basic CNC setting and operating experience
  • Basic experience with measuring equipment
  • Working within a production environment

To be successful in this role you will

  • Have basic engineering drawing competency and programme reading skills
  • Hold NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Manufacturing, or be qualified by experience
