Accounts Payable Administrator (4 months FTC)
Role Overview
An excitingopportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator tojoin our team.
The main purpose of this role will involve providingadministrative & transactional support to this busy Finance function toensure supplier expectations and business requirements are met to the higheststandard.
This is currently a 4-monthfixed term contract for 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, theresponsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to);
- Processinginvoices and credit notes in a timely manner.
- Dealingwith supplier queries
- Chasingsuppliers for copy invoices, proof of deliveries & statements.
- Reconcilingsupplier statements.
- Liaisingwith our Central Finance department regarding payments to suppliers.
- Maintenanceof changes in supplier details.
- Settingup new suppliers and carrying out due diligence checks.
- Reviewingthe aged creditors report on a monthly basis.
- Otherad ap duties to assist the Accounts Payable & Supply Finance teams asand when needed.
Skills & Experience
- Successful candidates will need to demonstratethe following skills and attributes:
- Demonstrable experience working in a similar accounting role
- Excellentorganisational and time management skills with ability to workindependently to deadlines.
- Accuracywith great attention to detail.
- Confidentand pro‑active in dealing with key internal customers and suppliers in aprofessional manager, demonstrating high levels of resilience.
- Proficiencywith Excel and other MS Office programs.
- Excellentcommunication skills with ability to influence key stakeholders at alllevels.
- Abilityto deal with demanding situations.
