Senior HR Advisor
Location: Cheltenham, UK (On-site)

Role Overview:
The role of HR advisory and partnership in UK Supply is to be the connection point between the organisation and its people, by aligning the knowledge, behaviours and skills to the organisational capabilities required to deliver on our strategic intent. They help cultivate the right culture and working environment, making this a stronger and better place to work with and for.
We are looking for a new Senior HR Advisor who will be working with key areas of the business to advise, implement and facilitate change programmes, ER casework, people development and engagement, and organisational design.
This role will be suited to someone who is CIPD Level 5, or equivalent, or is qualified by experience. This person must be passionate about an operational environment and be able to build genuine and effective relationships at all levels of our manufacturing teams. The key traits are someone who is curious, optimistic, and believes in exploring the possibilities of how we can keep driving the organisation forward.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on:
- Creating HR processes and policies that leverage the Group, Divisional and local frameworks.
- Leading colleague engagement and action planning to ensure that we make progress with our opportunity areas and build on what is working well.
- Identifying key improvements that will establish an HR Centre of Excellence.
- Working with the HR Systems and Programmes Advisor to identify the appropriate measures and reporting tools to measure, analyse and report appropriate HR data.
- Partnering with specific business areas and teams to support, advise and guide leaders on day-to-day and more complex HR & employee relations activities.
- Working with site leaders to understand team dynamics and HR support mechanisms that build high-performing teams.
- Working with the HR Manager and HR Business Partner to design talent and succession strategies that will ensure we have the resilience to maintain production, organisational growth and talent mobility.
- Working as part of our divisional HR Community; participating in community meetings, contributing to thought leadership and sharing best practices and updates.
Your previous experience is likely to include:
- Change management and creating/implementing strategies.
- Working within one of the following specialist areas: colleague experience, diversity and inclusion, talent management, resourcing, organisational development and design.
- People development and coaching.
- A working understanding of the dynamics of an operational/manufacturing/supply chain environment.
- Producing business plans, reports, metrics and KPIs.
