Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated CNC Operator to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely as part of the machine shop manufacturing team to produce high quality machined products supporting the assembly and tubing function.
  • Working alongside the setters to enable the production of various sizes, lengths and specifications of machined product supporting critical industries including biopharma, medical, water, food, and special processing industries.
  • Supporting the production of machined components from various materials in support of the WMFTS pumps and tubing direct sales to customers globally.
  • Providing support for various production activities including the end of line processes.
  • Embracing Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the machining value stream, working closely with Team Leaders to develop and implement new ideas.
  • Supporting and driving 5S activities across the machining value stream, ensuring the workspace is efficient and safe.
  • Supporting process improvement investigations including Root Cause analysis and Corrective Actions.

Skills/Experience

This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment based within a machine shop.
  • Relevant engineering qualification and/or suitable demonstrated experience in CNC turning.
  • A keen eye for detail and a willingness to utilise all available resources to drive process improvement.
  • The ability to work with others to achieve the team goals.
  • A willingness to mentor and train apprentices and operators to improve their skill set and understanding of machining.
