This Year in Industry placement within the Group Finance Internal Controls team offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a FTSE100 company. You’ll work closely with finance teams across the business, supporting control design walkthroughs, effectiveness testing, and remediation planning. With exposure to senior finance leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and travel to UK sites, you’ll develop skills in business partnering, governance, and training delivery. Ideal for students who are inquisitive, detail-oriented, and eager to understand how strong internal controls underpin business success, this placement sets the foundation for a career in finance, audit, or risk management.

Our Year in Industry Programme is based in Cheltenham, UK at Spirax Sarco, part of our Steam Specialties Business. We have a range of 12-Month placements available for you to experience a full year in:
