Role Overview

As a key member of the Global Content and Digital team, the Global Campaign Manager will lead and be accountable for the full lifecycle of global marketing campaigns—from strategic development through to execution, performance tracking, and reporting. This role is pivotal in driving high‑impact campaigns that elevate brand visibility, thought leadership, and commercial outcomes for the Steam Specialities brands – Spirax Sarco and GESTRA.

The Global Campaign Manager will independently deliver global campaigns while partnering with local marketing teams to ensure seamless adoption and execution across regions. This includes campaigns focused on brand, thought‑leadership, products, solutions, and services. You will also be responsible for the translation of campaign collateral through the use of digital translation tools and managing the review and approval process with operating companies.

This is a hands‑on position requiring the ability to develop copy (predominantly high‑level messaging, headlines, and short‑form copy), proofread campaign materials for accuracy and consistency, and develop creative concepts for further development and execution by the Design Studio. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking an active role in content creation and collaborating closely with designers to bring campaign ideas to life.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…

  • Campaign Strategy & Development
    Work with the Content & Digital Marketing Manager to develop campaigns aligned to the annual global campaign plan, covering brand, thought‑leadership, product, solution, and service themes.
  • Briefing and Proposition Definition: Partner with Sector and Portfolio Managers and subject matter experts to craft robust campaign briefs that define proposition, positioning, audience, messaging, assets, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Budget Ownership: Be accountable for the campaign budget, providing regular reporting on spend and delivery against targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead cross‑functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and SMEs to conceptualise and deliver compelling campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals and audience needs.
  • End‑to‑End Campaign Management: Manage the full campaign lifecycle—from concept development and creative briefing to content creation and cross‑channel delivery in partnership with agencies and the digital marketing team.
  • Agency and Partner Coordination: Manage external agencies and the internal Design Studio to produce campaign assets, oversee approvals, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Campaign Localisation: Act as the primary liaison with Operating Companies to facilitate campaign localisation, adoption, and feedback loops.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report campaign performance across channels (email, paid media, web, etc.) throughout the campaign lifecycle, providing actionable insights and final impact assessments.

Collaboration and Influence

  • Build strong partnerships across divisional, regional, and local marketing teams to drive campaign success.
  • Work closely with Steam Business Development (SBD), sales operating companies, and the Content Marketing and Design Studio teams to ensure campaigns are digitally enabled and commercially effective.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Stay current with marketing trends, technologies, and best practices in campaign management.
  • Support broader Steam Business Development initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement across the marketing function.

Your previous experience is likely to include…

  • Experience in a campaign management
  • Proven track record creating and delivering engaging content and campaigns.
  • Demonstrates end‑to‑end campaign management from ideation to execution to measurement
  • Experience Using Marketing tools and techniques
  • Working experience with a B2B engineering environment
  • Degree or equivalent in Marketing
  • Strong understanding of campaign management in the context of B2B engineering
  • Strong understanding of current marketing and campaign concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Solid understanding of the wider marketing discipline such as digital, demand creation, demand capture
